One Monroe High graduate broke another Monroe graduate’s University of Tennessee running record in New York City.
Austin Whitelaw, a redshirt freshman, completed the 5,000-meter run in 14:18.11, good for third place in the Armory Collegiate Indoor Track & Field Invitational that featured more than 100 colleges and universities.
